BIMNYC is a New York City-based multidisciplinary Engineering, Architecture, and Construction support service provider firm, formed by a group of engineers and architects with local and international experience in various types of projects.
The BIMNYC team is trained, educated, and experienced in Building Information Modeling (BIM), Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) and Digital Construction Management techniques, and their related technologies such as reality capture, remote sensing, computational design, and asset management technologies. The team is experienced in different phases of various projects, from the design and construction to facilities operations and management.
Our goal is to implement our cutting edge technologies and techniques in every phase of design and construction for various usages around the US, tailored for clients’ budget through a consistent workflow; not as a “luxury”, but as “part” of the projects’ lifecycle.
As BIMNYC President, Parisa directs Design and Construction Management services. She brings her extensive, hands-on experience in design and construction management with her passion for implementing cutting-edge technologies for project controls and delivery, throughout the design to post-construction process. She has been involved in various projects from small-scale residential to upper-scale infrastructural projects. Her patience and experience in applying the preconstruction data management within the design workflow, benefit the clients in schedule and cost. She is a strong believer in planning for the project's lifecycle, from the early design phase to post-construction and facilities management. Parisa is holding a bachelor's and a master's degree in Architecture with honors from the University of Arizona and is a registered architect candidate in the state of New York. Parisa has comprehensive knowledge of New York City’s building code and zoning regulations.
Shahryar P. Monajjemi, PE
Shahryar is a Managing Partner at BIMNYC, directing VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) and reality capture services. He managed VDC and BIM processes of various large-scale residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects within the US (Tri-State Area) and around the world, from the pre-construction and design phase to post-construction and facilities management. He holds a bachelor's degree in Architecture and a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering. Currently, he is a Ph.D. candidate and a guest lecturer at New York University’s Tandon School of Engineering, where he teaches undergraduate and graduate students in asset management for infrastructure systems and relevant topics in civil engineering. Along with his extensive experience in VDC and Reality Capture, he is an expert in integrated project delivery, lean IPD, remote sensing, digital fabrication, and computational design.
Andres has managed VDC and BIM Processes for a vast array of large-scale residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects throughout New York, Washington DC, Florida, New Jersey, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. Andres is a firm believer in implementing new technologies to improve our capabilities and over the last 5 years, he has become an expert in Reality Capture technologies performing Laser Scanning to large-scale structures. After obtaining his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, he pursued and completed the Civil Engineering Master’s program at NYU Tandon School of Engineering, focusing on Structure Design and Construction Management. Along with his extensive experience in VDC and Reality Capture, he has on-site construction experience in large infrastructure projects, which makes him unique when it comes to proposing cost and time-efficient solutions for our clients.
